When the generation of the ’68ers passes away, the unfounded, one-sided attitudes against Latin and Gregorian chant will pass away as well, Cardinal Robert Sarah told IlGiornale.it on August 27. Benedict XVI’s liberalization of the Traditional Latin Mass had a positive and even corrective influence on abuses in the celebration of the Novus Ordo, Cardinal Sarah said. “Many priests testify that discovering the Extraordinary Form helped them to celebrate better.” Furthermore, the faithful could choose which form corresponded more closely to the fostering of the faith. “But all of this was brought to an abrupt end by Traditionis Custodes while the Pope Emeritus was still alive.” Francis’ restrictions on the Latin Mass were “neither a wise nor a respectful choice.” Cardinal Sarah added that access to “ritual forms that have existed for centuries can never be artificially restricted by decrees.” Without referring explicitly to the Novus Ordo, Sarah noted that a rite that did not serve the …Higit pa
These natural disasters is what governments should be spending money to help others, not waste it to fight useless endless wars and internal corruption.
A Mexican bishop has issued a decree restricting laypeople from assuming roles proper to ordained ministers in liturgical celebrations. Bishop Carlos Enrique Samaniego López of Texcoco issued the decree on 10 August, citing “irregular practices” that distort the priestly ministry and the sacred character of liturgical acts. It prohibits former seminarians, religious, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion and other faithful not instituted in the stable ministry of acolyte from presiding over celebrations of the Word, funeral rites, sacramentals or other liturgical acts proper to ordained ministers. It also forbids non-clerics from wearing the alb or “any sacred ornament or vestment reserved uniquely and exclusively to the clergy”, both within and outside liturgical celebrations. The bishop expressed concern about celebrations held in halls, gardens and other unapproved locations by “pseudo ordained ministers” and “celebrants”. “I ask all the Christian faithful of the Diocese of Texcoco …Higit pa
PACHAMAMA SCANDAL - 2026 NEAR VISIT OF POPE LEO XIV TO PERU. MONS. JORDI BERTOMEU NAVARRO CELEBRATES MOTHER EARTH PAGAN TRADITIONS AND GIVES OFFERINGS TO PACHAMAMA. THE VATICAN HAS MADE NO COMMENT, NOR HAS THERE BEEN ANY REPREHENSION AGAINST THIS ATROCITY BY THE VATICAN OR POPE LEO XIV.
At today’s General Audience, Leo XIV praised the failed liturgical reform after Vatican II. He quoted extensively from a letter by the future Paul VI, Cardinal Montini, dated October 1962. He wrote that the faithful “cannot and must no longer remain silent and passive”. No Participation: Novus Ordo Churches Empty Leo XIV added that “the participation of the faithful cannot be passive”. The Conciliar reform “was intended to allow the liturgy to shine forth”. He believes there was “the need to make the richness of the biblical texts and prayers more accessible to all the faithful”. "Necessary" to Revise Liturgy Furthermore, Leo XIV claims that the liturgy “has always been subject to developments and changes”. “It is therefore not surprising that the Second Vatican Council too, with the utmost respect for the heritage of tradition, and precisely in order to make it more accessible, considered it necessary to revise the liturgical books.” According to Leo XIV, “the liturgical reform promoted …Higit pa
Leo XIV: “A radical reform of the liturgical rites was not in fact necessary in order to make the liturgy more accessible after the Second Vatican Council — a reality that the full, conscious, actual and extraordinarily fruitful participation in the unreformed rites today makes perfectly clear.”
Leo XIV “has made room for progressive LGBTQ+ voices in several recent high-profile appointments”, writes the homosexual website Them.us on August 24. The article highlights four recent pro-homosexual appointments of bishops. The examples are: - James Checchio (New Orleans): he supported homosexual propaganda as bishop of Metuchen, New Jersey. - Ramón Bejarano (Monterey, California): he presided over homosexual Eucharists as auxiliary bishop in San Diego, including transvestites in the liturgy. - Christian Würtz (Eichstätt, Germany): he supported “blessings” for homosexuals and changes to biblical teaching on homosexuality. - Thomas Hennen (Baker, Oregon): he drafted pro-homosexual “pastoral” guidelines.

Today, Leo XIV praised the liturgical reform after Vatican II as it made liturgy “more accessible”. And: The Novus Ordo is “firmly rooted in the living tradition of the Church”.
Today, Leo XIV welcomed the Lutheran State Bishops of Norway in audience. Referring to the fallen human condition, Leo XIV said it is “all too easy to adopt an attitude of hostility toward those with whom we disagree”. That is why he seeks – at least with Protestants – “concrete paths of reconciliation and of fraternity”. Leo XIV recalled Christ’s prayer for the unity of his disciples. Key phrase: “Grounded in our common Baptism and our shared mission in the world, I pray that we may always grow together in our service to the promotion of peace and justice.” Picture: Vatican Media, #newsVyggmwuakm
Ecumenism sounds nice, but it does not work. Much dialogue has produced hardly any converts to Catholicis, while there have been countless apostate Catholics who have become non-Catholic.
Perhaps the Superior General of the FSSPX should have declared himself a “Lutheran Bishop” from Norway, so he could have joined this delegation in Private Audience with Leo. Hmmm?
Tuesday, 26th August 1913 Mary Phagan, The Victim, The Atlanta Constitution The Atlanta Constitution, Tuesday, 26th August 1913. Page 3. Story of Mary Phagan's Death As Representatives of the State Outlined It to Frank's Jury The Jury has said that Leo Max Frank Is guilty of the murder of Mary Anne Phagan. With that verdict fell upon Frank the awful shadow of the gallows and death. This is a fearful shadow to dwell in. It Is a midnight of horror made black and dreadful than mere words can conjure up. But there Is another shadow which hovers over Leo M. Frank a shadow beside whose unspeakable blackness the thought of mere death brightens to the soft roseate glow of a sweet and soul-resting twilight! Good Name Jeopardized. This other shadow is the great black blot of the crime that must besmudge the good name of Leo M. Frank, so long as the name shall exist and people shall be able to remember. By its verdict the jury drew this great black smudge across his name. Whether, if the world …Higit pa
Pope Francis broke with Vatican tradition by putting women into positions long reserved in practice for clerics. Leo XIV is now turning that breakthrough into routine. In little more than a year, he has confirmed women appointed by his predecessor, promoted others and named numerous women to positions across the Vatican. Italian media have noticed. They repeatedly reach for the colour pink: the Vatican “turns pink,” while headlines speak of a “Vaticano in rosa” and “nomine rosa” — “pink appointments.” Here are the many women Leo XIV has appointed, promoted or confirmed so far. Raffaella Petrini - Governor of Vatican City Francis appointed Sister Raffaella Petrini president of the Governorate of Vatican City State and president of the Pontifical Commission for Vatican City State shortly before his death. Leo XIV did more than simply leave her there. In November 2025, he modified Vatican City’s Fundamental Law so that the presidency of the Pontifical Commission no longer had to be held by …Higit pa
Two pastors in South Korea have been fined 1 million won (about €620) each after loudly preaching on a domestic flight from Jeju to Seoul. They shouted that passengers would “go to hell” if they did not believe in Jesus, while one moved around the cabin. They continued despite instructions from the cabin crew to stop. A Seoul court found that their conduct constituted a disturbance under South Korea’s Aviation Security Act.
The court said the 64-year-old pastor stood in the aisle despite repeated attempts by crew members to stop him and shouted at passengers, “You will go to hell if you don’t believe in Jesus.”
After the 2018 Sino-Vatican agreement “terrible things happen to Catholics” in the Fujian province, an anonymous Chinese bishop who is unaffiliated with the Chinese state church ‘Patriotic Association’, told Anthony Clark for CatholicWorldReport.com on August 23. The bishop speaks of a “state of emergency”. As government influence over the bishops increases, “the integrity of the Catholic faith will suffer.” To “assure the survival of China’s Church,” new bishops have been “secretly consecrated.” The bishop says the faithful question Rome’s genuine concern for their “spiritual well-being” when the Holy See approves government-selected bishops whom they regard as too reliable to the state. The number is unknown, but he suggested that “at least ten new bishops” were consecrated for the underground community in the Fujian province. #newsTzdkbhbakv

Leo XIV received French billionaire Bernard Arnault and his family privately at Castel Gandolfo on August 25. I.Media wrote that Arnault is participating in financing the Pope’s upcoming trip to France, although no amount was disclosed. Vatican journalist Hendro Munsterman commented on X: “New rules for Vatican correspondents who want to understand what's going on: follow the money.”

27.08.2026 Thursday NOVUS ORDO PRIEST EXPELLED FROM ITALY: CANNOT RETURN TO EUROPE A Novus Ordo Catholic priest in Rome has been expelled by the police and the issue is Vatican Council II. He belongs to a mainline Catholic religious congregation recognized by the Rome Vicariate. The Superior of a Men’s Religious community is expected to leave office on Sept 5 and will return home. This is the understanding with the police. On August 15, 2026 during Holy Mass in Italian on the feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, a layman read the Prayers of the Faithful. Unknown to the priest offering Mass, he said, as part of a Prayer Intention, that the Catholic Church teaches in Vatican Council II that outside the Church there is no salvation. There was a complaint by migrants and other non Catholics. It may be mentioned that Vatican Council II says in Ad Gentes 7 that all need faith and baptism for salvation. AG 7 is inserted in the Catechism of the Catholic Church 846, under the title Outside …Higit pa
Preliminary Recourse of FSSPX Rejected: The Vatican’s deadline to respond to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX) regarding its preliminary recourse against the July 2 decree declaring six bishops automatically excommunicated has now passed, notes @Michael Haynes The FSSPX submitted its recourse to the Holy See on July 11. Under canon law, the competent authority had 30 days to respond. With that period now expired without a decision, the FSSPX can proceed to the next stage of its canonical challenge. Canon 1735 provides that when no decision is issued within the prescribed 30 days, the time limit for presenting hierarchical recourse begins to run from the 30th day.
