Bishop Hieronymus Emusugut Joya of Maralal, Kenya, has suspended six diocesan priests as part of a sweeping package of measures. They are aimed at strengthening discipline and financial accountability. The suspensions follow allegations of abuse of ecclesiastical authority, administrative negligence, and the mismanagement of Church property. Announcing the decision during Mass on 12 July, Bishop Joya said he had acted only after receiving credible evidence. The suspensions affect a significant proportion of the diocese's clergy. Established by St. John Paul II in 2001, the diocese has 15 parishes served by 30 diocesan priests. Alongside the suspensions, Bishop Joya introduced a series of disciplinary and administrative directives for clergy, including: - Priests must return to their residences by 7:00 p.m. for evening prayer. - Priests require the bishop's permission to spend the night away from their residence. - No lay person may stay overnight in a priest's residence without prior …Hafa

Madrid's homosexual activist group Crismhom published recently photos on social media from its attendance at Leo XIV's meeting with "civil society" during his visit to Spain. On June 7, the group became the first homosexual organization officially invited to a papal event in Spain. The invitation came from pro-homosexual Cardinal José Cobo of Madrid. Speaking to Artículo14.es, Crismhom president Ramón Legaspi Yrimia said the invitation showed "that the diverse Church exists and has a voice" and that "we, as LGBTI people, are part of the Church, not something foreign to it." Later that day, Crismhom members attended the Pope's public Eucharist in Madrid, where they called for recognition of Catholic homosexual activists "as first-class Christians" and demanded access to the sacrament of marriage (!) "without distinction." #newsGpodwlxkei
Here we see another example of the inverted schism of those who side with Prevost while persisting in their rebellion against the law of God and Catholic morality.
Jesus Mosaic from Plastic Bottle Caps: Students from Instituto Nuestra Señora de Lourdes in Buenos Aires, Argentina, have created a mosaic of the face of Jesus using thousands of plastic bottle caps. The face is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper. The project was shared by their art teacher, Sebastián Ramírez. He included the phrase "Soli Deo Gloria" ("Glory to God alone") in the post. The students have previously created mosaics honoring Pope Francis, Salvador Dalí, and Lionel Messi.

"IF THOU wilt anything profit to the health of thy soul keep thee always in the dread of God, (and never desire to be full), at liberty, but keep thee always under some whole some discipline. Never give thyself to indiscreet mirth, for any manner of thing, as nigh as thou mayest. Have perfect compunction and sorrow for thy sins, and thou shalt find thereby great inward devotion."
[Thomas a Kempis – XIV-XV Century AD; born: Kempen, Holy Roman Empire/died: Zwolle, Holy Roman Empire; aged 90-91; Canon, Regular] 21. OF COMPUNCTION OF THE HEART. IF THOU wilt anything profit to the health of thy soul keep thee always in the dread of God, (and never desire to be full), at liberty, but keep thee always under some whole some discipline. Never give thyself to indiscreet mirth, for any manner of thing, as nigh as thou mayest. Have perfect compunction and sorrow for thy sins, and thou shalt find thereby great inward devotion. Compunction openeth to the sight of the soul many good things, which lightness of heart and vain mirth soon driveth away. It is marvel that any man can be merry in this life, if he consider well how far he is exiled out of his country, and how great peril his soul daily standeth in: but through lightness of heart and negligence of our defaults we feel not the sorrow of our own soul : but oftentimes we laugh when we ought rather to weep and mourn, for …Hafa
Bishop Charles Morerod of the Diocese of Lausanne, Geneva and Fribourg, Switzerland, said he no longer sees how a request to use a diocesan church for an FSSPX event could be granted today. He was asked about October 5, 2019, when the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X celebrated its 50th anniversary at St. Maurice Church in Fribourg. Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre opened its first house of formation for seminarians in Fribourg in October 1969 before moving the seminary to Ecône in 1970. Speaking to Cath.ch on July 12, Bishop Morerod explained that his 2019 decision reflected a different moment in the relationship between the Priestly Fraternity and Rome: "When I approved the use of a diocesan church back then, it was done in a spirit of goodwill, at a time when a rapprochement between the FSSPX and Rome was still possible." He added that the FSSPX has "no intention whatsoever of entering into any process of reconciliation." Bishop Morerod said future dialogue would be on different terms:…Hafa
" Bishop Charles Morerod of the Diocese of Lausanne, Geneva and Fribourg, Switzerland, said he no longer sees how a request to use a diocesan church for an FSSPX event could be granted today." " It will certainly be necessary to begin an ecumenically oriented dialogue with the FSSPX, similar to the one we maintain with other communities that are not in communion with Rome."" --- Bishop Morerod is completely illogical: today - if SSPX is deemed by Post-Conciliar Church in the same position as "ecumenical" "separated brothers" in "imperfect communion" then even basilicas in Rome or even the Lateran cathedral should be granted to them today (cf. Mrs. Sarah last visit in Rome and Anglican "Mass" at Lateran in 2023 as examples).
Traditionis Custodes (2021) deepened wounds and, contrary to what Pope Francis intended, contributed to growing interest in the Roman rite, Archbishop Emeritus Héctor Aguer, 83, of La Plata, Argentina, wrote in a July 13 statement. He notes that the Roman rite is especially popular among the young and contributes to “a good portion of conversions.” “The transmission of the faith,” he adds, “is no longer passed, to a significant degree, from parents to children but from young people to young people.” Monsignor Aguer says that “persecution or the extreme measures of progressivism” will not stop this growing movement. It goes “far beyond mere fashion” - whereas the fashion over the past sixty years has been to turn the Novus Ordo into an anything-goes vehicle of liturgical devastation. He writes that the four Eucharistic Prayers of the Novus Ordo have effectively been displaced by “Eucharistic Prayer Zero” - whatever happens to occur to the celebrant at the moment. In Argentina, the proportion …Hafa
Archbishop Aguer, Argentina, on the Traditional Mass: “Traditionis Custodes, issued five years ago, far from healing the wounds, only deepened them. And contrary to what its promoter sought, it contributed to a growing interest in Tradition and Orthodoxy, especially among young people. Today, a good portion of conversions occur among those who prefer the ancient rite (of the Mass). And the transmission of the faith, to a great extent, is no longer passed from parents to children, but from young people to young people”
Swiss Pop Singer Films Lesbian Video in Historic Church: A 22-year-old Swiss pop singer filmed a music video with her girlfriend inside St. Emmeram Church in Regensburg, Germany. The video was intended to promote her song 'You Believe in Jesus, I Believe in Pussy', which celebrates her lesbian relationship. According to the parish, no filming permit had been granted. The matter has been referred to lawyers, and the video has since been removed from the internet.
„Ich bin aus allen Wolken gefallen, als ich das Video am Freitag gesehen habe“, sagte Roman Gerl, Pfarrer von Sankt Emmeram in Regensburg, am Montag. Es habe keine Dreherlaubnis gegeben, und für ein solches Projekt hätte er auch nie eine erteilt."
Written by Cassandra Hackstock On a sunny Santa Clara mountainside, I stood in shocked silence. It was lunchtime at the retreat center, and the buffet was ready. Prayers were said, and everyone stood. An unassuming woman in a loose-fitting dress leaned over to me and to the other women, and said, “Stand by your chairs until the men have gone through the buffet line, and then we will eat.” My jaw dropped — I couldn’t help it. Most of the women accepted this business of the men eating first without any visible opinions, but there was sometimes another person present in Society gatherings who was more aligned with what I call “normal,” and as I looked at the other women, I found one. Her mouth was open, too, and we just looked at each other in disbelief. During the retreat, this center would play audio commentary of the bombing of Dresden during World War II, with graphic descriptions of people being burned alive, at every meal, to show us how horrible hell would be. Definitely would be …Hafa
A misogamist hates marriage. A misogynist hates women. How do you have "more stringent misogamist (sic) thinking" as a part of Catholicism? I attended a SSPX Chapel for more than a year and had a very bad experience as a result of the overall attitude toward women. Nothing about the treatment the women received was Catholic or even Christian. Young men sitting down while old women stood. Men busting through doors first and not holding them open. Men blocking the sidewalk while women were forced to walk on the soggy/muddy grass. Women dragging behind with small children and babies and the men not helping. There was just a general disdain for women that permeated the atmosphere. Example: small children running all around the parking lot while people were pulling out with their cars. I got out to direct them away from our car. One little boy would not get out of the way, just stood there looking at me, then to his father. He wouldn't move until his father told him to do so. THAT'S the level …Hafa
I'm a married woman who has been attending the SSPX since her late twenties. And while I have witnessed some of the negative elements of which Miss Hackstock has highlighted, I do believed that the more stringent misogamist thinking stemmed not so much from the SSPX as a society but from His Lordship Bishop Williamson who I have personally met and talked to several times. Like every situation, your perception of a "whole" is coloured by your own personal experience, as well as prior ingrained beliefs. It can also be coloured by a lack of understanding of why a certain trend is encouraged. For example, in a world that is pressing us girls to dress and act like fellas, I think it is a good thing to stand against the tide and dress more elegantly in skirts. Obviously you do not have to - many of our female parishioners wear pants - but yes, it is strongly encouraged, because being a Catholic is more than just attending a Latin Mass, its about uplifting and refining ourselves culturally. …Hafa
"One does not care for life by giving death," Father François Yambressinga, parish priest of La Madeleine in Châteaudun, said during his July 5 homily, before the French National Assembly's final vote on legalizing euthanasia tomorrow. He urged the faithful to "pray for life" and to "pray for parliamentarians so that they do not do just anything." Among the congregation was Philippe Vigier, the bill's general rapporteur. He is also the mayor of Châteaudun and a member of the National Assembly for Les Démocrates. Vigier attended the Mass because it was part of the town's annual Foire aux Laines medieval festival. Civic officials appear in costume. He sat in the front row dressed as the fifteenth-century military commander Jean de Dunois. Afterward, Vigier told L'Écho Républicain that he felt personally targeted and "deeply hurt" by the homily. "The priest appealed to the congregation while I had no opportunity to respond. That is unacceptable," he said. According to witnesses cited by …Hafa
[Saint Catherine of Siena /Caterina di Benincasa/; XIV-XV Century AD; born: Siena, Republic of Siena/died: Rome, Papal States; aged 33; Spiritual Writer; Mystic; Virgin; Doctor of the Church] Of the imperfection of those who love GOD for their own profit, delight, and consolation. If, through a desire for perfection, they do not recognise this imperfection of theirs, it is impossible that they should not turn back. For those who desire Eternal Life, a pure love, prescinding from themselves, is necessary, for it is not enough for eternal life to fly sin from fear of punishment, or to embrace virtue from the motive of one's own advantage. Sin should be abandoned because it is displeasing to Me, and virtue should be loved for My sake. It is true that, generally speaking, every person is first called in this way, but this is because the soul herself is at first imperfect, from which imperfection she must advance to perfection, either while she Jives, by a generous love to Me with a pure and …Hafa
" Yet it is true, that a servant may so advance by the virtuous love, which he bears to his master, as to become a very dear friend, and so do some of these of whom I have spoken, but while they remain in the state of mercenary love, I do not manifest Myself to them. If they, through displeasure at their imperfection, and love of virtue, dig up, with hatred, the root of spiritual self-love, and mount to the throne of conscience, reasoning with themselves, so as to quell the motions of servile fear in their heart, and to correct mercenary love by the light of the holy faith, they will be so pleasing to Me, that they will attain to the love of the friend. And I will manifest Myself to them, as My Truth said in these words : * He who loves Me shall be one thing with Me and I with him, and I will manifest Myself to him and we will dwell together?"
"The soul who has climbed this step with servile fear and mercenary love alone, falls into many troubles. Such souls should arise and become sons, and serve Me, irrespective of themselves, for I, who am the Rewarder of every labour, render to each man according to his state and his labour ; wherefore, if these souls do not abandon the exercise of holy prayer and their other good works, but go on, with perseverance, to increase their virtues, they will arrive at the state of filial love, because I respond to them with the same love, with which they love Me, so that, if they love Me, as a servant does his master, I pay them their wages according to their deserts, but I do not reveal Myself to them, because secrets are revealed to a friend, who has become one thing with his friend, and not to a servant."
On July 2, the Northern Ireland Policing Board published guidance on how Safe Access Zone legislation applies to hospital ministry. The zones extend up to 100 metres (extendable to 250 metres) around premises that kill unborn children. Three groups are protected: mothers attending for abortion, anyone accompanying them, and staff. The flagged activities are: - prayer with patients during end-of-life care - scripture reading requested by patients or families - carrying Bibles or religious materials through public areas of hospitals - consensual pastoral ministry within wards or hospital grounds - visible religious practice within areas covered by Safe Access Zones These religious actions could constitute an offence within a designated zone. It is enough if a "reasonable person" would consider them capable of influencing, or "causing distress" to, a mother seeking an abortion - even if there is no intent to do so. The guidance states there is no exemption for clergy or religious activity …Hafa
Truth Never Changes Despite Human Rebellion The gospel reading emphasizes the enduring nature of God’s law, stating that not a single detail will be lost until it is fulfilled. Catholic Confronts Argentine Priest - Receiving Communion while Kneeling: A man identifying himself as Mariano de Jesús recently confronted Rev. Andrés P. Rousseu-Salet of the parish Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Villa Allende, Córdoba, Argentina, over reports that he prohibits the faithful from receiving Holy Communion while kneeling. Rev. Rousseu-Salet objects to being filmed and blocks the camera with his hand, saying, "You're being disrespectful by filming without authorization." Mariano replies, "We have the right to kneel. The Church instructs us to do so. We are not doing anything wrong."
Según denuncian, el padre Andrés Russeu-Salet estaría negando la comunión a los que se arrodillan para recibirla. Es en Córdoba, República Argentina.
Lecture on April 3, 1970 (*) -Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira Something that history records and which the theology of history indicates as certain, is that the great disasters that fall upon peoples are punishments. This is a certain principle of the theology of history. When a nation suffers a major catastrophe, it is a punishment. This does not apply to men or to particular individuals but for nations, social groups etc. Now then, history tells us that major catastrophes take a long time hanging upon those punished. That is the general rule of major disasters. Cataclysms, all the way from the Flood through the fall of Jerusalem, those of the Western and Eastern Empires, Protestantism, the French Revolution, the Russian Communist Revolution etc. always are long suspended over a people without anyone understanding why they do not just break out, but they finally do. There is more. In general, the longer the suspense lasts, the more terrifying the punishment is. So from this delay it does …Hafa
“When a member of parliament identifies as Catholic while supporting legislation that authorizes the taking of life, he objectively places himself in opposition not only to the Church's constant teaching but also to a fundamental principle of human reason,” Bishop Marc Aillet of Bayonne told France-Catholique.fr on July 7. Members of the French National Assembly are expected to vote on the euthanasia bill on July 15. Bishop Aillet said euthanasia is “an intrinsically evil act, regardless of the circumstances” and that Catholics engaged in public life cannot ignore this teaching, “If they are aware of this inconsistency, they will no longer be able to receive Holy Communion.” Responding to the presentation of euthanasia as an “act of humanity,” Bishop Aillet said that a truly fraternal society does not respond to suffering by eliminating the person who suffers. He added that this message must be proclaimed despite “the dominant discourse, which seriously clouds consciences,” and “the …Hafa
A French bishop has said Catholic lawmakers who knowingly support assisted suicide legislation should not receive Holy Communion, arguing that backing euthanasia places them in opposition to the Church's moral teaching.
Anybody know why Canada's Prime Minister, Mark Carney. is still allowed to turn up at Mass and be given Communion even though he is a long, continuing, unrepentant advocate of both the country's rapidly expanding murder regimes (aka assisted suicide and abortion)? Do the bishops and archbishops and Vatican ambassador up there not follow the news?
