Funeral agencies cannot include Church fees in their price lists or dictate religious arrangements. Delpini also calls for limiting lengthy farewell speeches, preferably holding them after the liturgy. Catholic funerals cannot take place in private farewell rooms. While cremation is permitted, Delpini reiterates the Church’s prohibition on keeping ashes at home and proposes designated spaces for urns inside churches.
