He said that the radical liturgical changes following Vatican II had damaged, and in some cases even destroyed, Catholics’ faith. Cordileone also pointed to a generational reversal: Young Catholics increasingly seek to recover tradition, while older generations remain attached to the changes introduced in their youth. What still feels new to the Vatican II generation, he observed, looks like a bygone era to young Catholics, who are searching for something timeless.

1. The Church has unity. Not "more or less" but unity (of Faith and worship) as the basis/basic characteristics. If there is no such unity, well, you should search for the Church in another place. 2.
