Surgery in February

DIALOGUE for Sodomite Supporters – EXCOMMUNICATION for Traditionalists

How is the Vatican addressing heretical German bishops who are proceeding with the formal blessing of homosexual unions? The National Catholic Reporter today reported:
Dialogue between the Vatican and German bishops regarding the blessing of same-sex unions is ongoing, and it was too soon to talk about sanctions, said the Vatican secretary of state.
Speaking to journalists in Rome May 6, Cardinal Pietro Parolin was asked if the Vatican intends to impose sanctions on the German bishops after the continued promotion of a handbook for blessing same-sex couples.
“We are in dialogue on this point; it’s premature to say. It’s a decision that belongs to the pope, but we’ve already begun a dialogue, and I believe we can find a solution,” the cardinal said, according to the Italian news agency ANSA.

Vatican Rebukes Argentine Bishops - Words Only

The Dicastery for Divine Worship spoke with two Argentine bishops regarding anti-Catholic policies on how Holy Communion may be received in their dioceses, reports ElWanderer.com on May 11.
The two are Archbishop Marcelo Colombo, 65, of Mendoza, and Bishop Gabriel Barba, 62, of San Luis. Both have restricted Catholics from receiving Communion kneeling and on the tongue.
The Vatican reaffirmed that the faithful are free to receive Communion according to the forms permitted by the Church.
Archbishop Colombo is the president of the Argentine Bishops’ Conference. In September 2024, he declared that “in Argentina, Communion is received standing.”
Bishop Barba requires extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist to receive Communion in the hand.
There will likely be no sanctions against the bishops beyond the Vatican's empty words meant to placate Catholics.

The voice of Fatima speaks to us today: Let us not harden our hearts

“O Legionário”, São Paulo, May 14th 1944
by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira
Nearly 30 years ago, the first worldwide conflagration was moving toward its decline.
With the initial impetus of the Teutonic invasion contained, the French set about reconquering lost territory. For high-level politicians and military observers, the final result of the struggle was no longer in doubt.
The entire strategy of the Germans was based on the hope of the blitzkrieg’s triumph. The first toss of the dice met with immense possibilities. But it was the only one. The Germans had lost.
As for the Allies, it was just a question of time. Although on the battlefields the struggle remained white hot and German cannons thundered near Paris, financiers, sociologists, and politicians had already begun to murmur behind the scenes about how they would organize the postwar world.
Their private whispering held far greater significance than the public clamor of the cannons. On the battlefields, a war that in essence had …More

‘On Loving God’ By St. Bernard of Clairvaux - Chapter -V-VI. ‘Of love toward God…’ – Chapter VII; pages 9-10; part I

[St. Bernard of Clairvaux – XI-XII Century AD; born: Burgundy, Kingdom of France/died: Clairvaux, Kingdom of France; (aged 62-63); Abbot; Mystic; Leader; co-founder of the Knights Templar; Last of the Fathers; Doctor Mellifluus]
Chapter VII. Of love toward God not without reward: and how the hunger of man's heart cannot be satisfied with earthly things
And now let us consider what profit we shall have from loving God.
Even though our knowledge of this is imperfect, still that is better than to ignore it altogether. I have already said (when it was a question of wherefore and in what manner God should be loved) that there was a double reason constraining us: His right and our advantage. Having written as best I can, though unworthily, of God's right to be loved. I have still to treat of the recompense which that love brings. For although God would be loved without respect of reward, yet He wills not to leave love unrewarded. True charity cannot be left destitute, even though she is …More

"On a lower plane of action, it is the reluctant, not the eager, whom we urge by promises of reward. Who would think of paying a man to do what he was yearning to do already? For instance no one would hire a hungry man to eat, or a thirsty man to drink, or a mother to nurse her own child. Who would think of bribing a farmer to dress his own vineyard, or to dig about his orchard, or to rebuild his house? So, all the more, one who loves God truly asks no other recompense than God Himself; for if he should demand anything else it would be the prize that he loved and not God."

Starmer hit with MORE resignations after toe-curling Cabinet where he brushed aside leadership meltdown - and refused to see Streeting

Keir Starmer was hit with more resignations today after attempting to brush aside calls to step down at a toe-curling Cabinet meeting.
Ministers Jess Phillips and Alex Davies-Jones declared they had lost confidence in the PM as his grip on power loosens further.
The intervention came after members of his top team - said to include Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood - privately urged him to make a graceful exit in the wake of disastrous local elections.
But Sir Keir effectively dared his rivals to move against him this morning, telling the weekly gathering in No10: 'The Labour Party has a process for challenging a leader and that has not been triggered.
'The country expects us to get on with governing. That is what I am doing and what we must do as a Cabinet.'
Health Secretary Wes Streeting, regarded by Sir Keir's dwindling band of allies as being behind the coup, was present to hear the stark message. However, Sir Keir is said to have immediately moved on to the Iran war.

5 Priests Were at His Deathbed. Here's Why. | Fr. Ripperger

Fr. Chad Ripperger shares personal testimony about the Nine First Fridays devotion to the Sacred Heart — and how a promise made in childhood protected three members of his own family at the hour of their death.
His first brother: five priests at his deathbed. His second brother: all sacraments, including the apostolic pardon, 15 minutes before death. His father: last rites the day he died.
"This devotion is real."
He also recounts the story of a man who fell away from the faith entirely — yet God still provided a priest for his final confession, honouring a devotion made in youth. An unprovided death is dying in a state of mortal sin with no means to receive the sacraments. The Nine First Fridays is one of the surest ways the Church gives us to guard against it.

Israel Expels Priest Father Louis Salman From Palestine After Refusing Residency Renewal

Father Louis Salman
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli authorities have expelled Catholic priest Father Louis Salman from Palestine after refusing to renew his residency permit following a lengthy and unusual security investigation.
Father Louis led his final Mass on Sunday in the Palestinian town of Beit Sahour before departing for Jordan under Israeli orders. The emotional farewell drew wide reactions among Palestinian Christians and youth groups, who viewed the move as politically motivated.
The priest serves as pastor of the Latin Church in Beit Sahour and spiritual adviser to Palestinian Christian youth movements. He has become one of the most influential Christian figures among Palestinian youth in recent years because of his outspoken national positions and public presence during major Palestinian events.
Many Palestinians linked his forced departure to his support for Palestinian rights and his criticism of Israeli occupation policies.

The LGBT Drift in Italy: More Than Twenty Dioceses Support LGBT+ ‘Inclusive’ Vigils

At least twelve Italian bishops will participate this year in vigils organized for the “overcoming of homotransphobia”, a series of events promoted by Christian LGBT groups and supported by numerous dioceses, parishes, and ecclesiastical organizations in Italy.
According to La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana, in the months of May and June, dozens of vigils and celebrations are scheduled in Italy and other European countries. The list, updated by
Progetto Gionata, currently includes 47 events, many of them held in churches, parishes, convents, or spaces directly linked to Catholic dioceses.
Twelve bishops involved in the vigils
The most relevant fact is the increase in the number of bishops who will preside over or participate in these vigils. If in 2025 there were five, this year the figure already rises to twelve, more than double.
Among them are the bishop of Parma, Enrico Solmi; the bishop of Cremona, Antonio Napolioni; the archbishop of Florence, Gherardo Gambelli; the bishop of Fano,…

Parents outraged after 'safer snorting' booklet, condoms distributed at high school - LifeSite

Mon May 11, 2026 - 12:13 pm EDTTue May 12, 2026 - 6:35 am EDT
(
LifeSiteNews) — Parents whose children go to a Barrie, Ontario, school are furious after condoms and a booklet about so-called “safer snorting” showing how to “safely” use cocaine and other drugs were made available to students by an advocacy group.
The “safer snorting” booklet and condoms came from the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), which recently gave the materials to the high school, Barrie North Collegiate Institute.
A Facebook group called “Barrie Concerned Citizens” showed the anger of parents about the booklets, who called them “despicable.”
“I do not know if the teachers and principal [are] aware but I sure hope complaints are made,” wrote James Buccos in the Facebook group earlier this week.
Buccos said that the snorting booklets are “absolutely despicable.”
“We have a serious drug problem as it is, and now this?” he added.
Buccos said he was “beyond disgusted” and that he was not “aware” of …

Among the material said to be on the device was jihadist propaganda, “hundreds” of images of …

Defend Tradition, Defend the SSPX

There is a concerted effort right now to disparage and malign the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX). For a normal person looking at this from the outside, this effort would seem bizarre. The only thing that could possibly trigger this hate campaign is the fact that the Society plans on consecrating a few auxiliary bishops this upcoming July 2026.
The SSPX did the exact same thing back in 1988. This led to the supposed excommunications of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and the four bishops he consecrated at that time. These false excommunications were nevertheless later lifted by Pope Benedict. Since that time, the SSPX has continued to operate, ordaining priests, providing the faithful with sacraments, and teaching the faith while always maintaining its loyalty to Holy Mother Church.
If another round of consecrations takes place, nothing about the current situation will change. The status quo will be maintained. The only one threatening to change the status quo with excommunications again is …

They are not in schism they may in fact be the remnant so often spoken of.

sp2 . .

I find this whole mess rather interesting to view. A few years ago, the SSPX people here on GTV jumped up and down, stamped their feet at the Orthodox Church, called them “Schismatics” and ensured that everyone knew that there was no Salvation outside the Church. Meaning that all the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox was going to Hell.
I mentioned the examples of heresies in the Modern Church, and how none of these were found in the Orthodox Church, yet still they were proclaimed “ Schismatics” by the SSPX.
So now, everyone sees the potential action of the SSPX being proclaimed Excommunication by Schism of Papal Authority – just like Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò.
And yet, now these new Schismatics will still insist that the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox will go to Hell.
What a bunch of Crap.

Russia successfully test-fires state-of-the-art ICBM (VIDEO)

The RS-28 Sarmat is the most powerful weapon of its kind capable of bypassing any missile defenses, President Vladimir Putin has said
The Russian military has successfully test-fired the advanced RS-28 Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile, the commander of the Strategic Missile Troops, General Sergey Karakaev, has reported to President Vladimir Putin. The development would allow the military to equip the first missile regiment with the new weapon systems by the end of the year, Karakaev said.
The liquid-fueled heavy RS-28 Sarmat is designed to replace the world’s most powerful silo-based missile, the RS-20V Voevoda (SS-18 Satan according to NATO classification). It is believed to be to be able to carry up to ten heavy warheads with multiple re-entry capability.
According to Karakaev, the new missile system demonstrated capabilities exceeding those of its predecessor, primarily in terms of its range and payload. Its onboard systems also allow it to “securely penetrate the existing …

Worse than the German Church: At least 16 [!] Catholic universities across the United States have announced homosexual graduations for spring 2026 — separate ceremonies recognizing homosexual students. Colleges hosting the events include Georgetown, Gonzaga, Boston College, Fordham, Marquette, Santa Clara, Seattle University, and others.

At least 16 prominent self-described Catholic colleges are hosting LGBTQ-affirming “Lavender Graduations” this spring, contradicting Church teaching on human sexuality and the mission of Catholic education.

LGBTQ-Affirming ‘Lavender Graduations’ Persist at Prominent Catholic Colleges - Cardinal Newman Society

At least 16 Catholic colleges across the United States are hosting “lavender graduations” this spring — ceremonies separate from the main commencement intended to celebrate students who “identify” as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or otherwise under the LGBTQ+ umbrella.
At a Catholic institution, such ceremonies raise serious concerns. “Lavender graduations” affirm students in an identity rooted in disordered sexual desires or confusion about the human person, rather than their deepest identity as sons and daughters of God.
“Lavender graduations” have unfortunately become annual campus traditions at many Catholic colleges that refuse to fully embrace the truth of our Catholic faith. Ceremonies have recently been announced at:
Georgetown University, Washington, DC
Gonzaga University, Spokane, WA
University of San Francisco, San Francisco, CA
Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA
Fordham University, Bronx, NY
Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI
Xavier University, Cincinnati …

Hichborn argues that the initiative, launched under Pope Francis and continued under Pope Leo XIV, has brought openly socialist and communist organizations into close partnership with Vatican structures and local churches.
Learn more about Pope Leo XIV’s recent praise for “popular movements,” his support for the World Meeting of Popular Movements, and concerns that these efforts are helping spread liberation theology and revolutionary political ideologies through Catholic institutions.

In 1987, a seminarian wrote an anonymous satire of modernism, "A Modern Seminarian’s Dictionary". The satire passed around until Fr. Paul Mankowski shared it with Cdl. Ratzinger, who laughed at the definition of someone who was “PRE VATICAN II”: “A person who accepts at face value the teaching of the Church and who reads the documents of the Second Vatican Council without reference to a commentary.” That seminarian was Fr. Jerry Pokorsky, who has just republished his satire under his own name.

A Modern Seminarian’s Dictionary, Revisited

By Fr. Jerry Pokorsky ( bio - articles - email ) | May 11, 2026
Among the joys of entering the twilight years of one’s priesthood is the memory of looking back on the “Spirit of Vatican II” in the decades that followed the Council. Except for important pockets of Catholic sanity, the seminary (back in those days) was mostly doctrinally dissident. I recently remembered (and rediscovered) a piece that I wrote in 1987 as a seminarian. It was published in September of that year, in Fidelity magazine, without attribution. The revised version that appears below is appearing for the first time under my name.
Ambrose Bierce’s famous
The Devil’s Dictionary was the near occasion of sin. Most credit, however, goes to a seminary professor who taught us to enter the minds of so-called liberation (read, “Marxist”) theologians rather than imposing our misconceptions on their words. So, for example, when they used the word “salvation,” they didn’t mean “heavenly glory.” They meant the “…
