As a political, economic, technological, and military superpower, the United States bears a distinctive responsibility to contain dangerous regimes and dictatorships that pose a grave threat to the world. This position was articulated by Cardinal Gerhard Müller on Kath.net on 14 April.

Rom 11:26-27 is not taking about a land, but a people. A Jew converting to Catholicism in the North Pole could fulfill that prophecy. (No offense to the flat earthers intended).

Critics of Iran are now describing them as what the west has become. I suppose this has a lot to do with the fear of loosing the entitlements of the dollar hegemony. A poor Church will be better Church.
